w/Resident Teacher Rebecca Gauthier Our lives are so complicated and dissatisfying. In our relentless search for happiness, we use our time and energy seeking so many different things. We want to change our job, our partner, our home, our situation - but until we change our restless discontented mind, we will never find the happiness we seek. If we are contented, we are happy all the time. During this weekly series, resident teacher Rebecca Gauthier will share with us Buddha’s practical advice on how to overcome our problem of discontentment, and enjoy the peace and satisfaction that can only come from learning to still our restless mind. $12 per class $6 for students Each class is self-contained. You may drop in at any time. Tuesdays 7:30pm - 8:30pm
The Stages of the Path, or Lamrim, is a special sequence of meditations that encapsulates the entire spiritual path in a way that is easy to understand and practice. In this weekly series, we can learn and practice these twenty-one meditations to deepen our peace of mind, our wisdom, and our good heart. No prior experience of meditation is necessary, and each class is self-contained. Gaining experience of these meditations will give us clear understanding and great confidence in our lives, and will help us find happiness and deepen our inner peace.
