Mondays, 7:30pm-9pm
w/Resident Teacher Rebecca Gauthier

Our lives are so complicated and dissatisfying. In our relentless search for happiness, we use our time and energy seeking so many different things. We want to change our job, our partner, our home, our situation - but until we change our restless discontented mind, we will never find the happiness we seek. If we are contented, we are happy all the time.

During this weekly series, resident teacher Rebecca Gauthier will share with us Buddha’s practical advice on how to overcome our problem of discontentment, and enjoy the peace and satisfaction that can only come from learning to still our restless mind.

All parents wish for their children to be happy. In an uncertain and busy world, children and parents need a place to go together to learn how to develop harmony, confidence and methods to help calm our minds and strengthen our families.

In this class, parents and children learn together about Buddha's most loving teachings. Each class has a short talk, gentle meditation, and arts and crafts activities to develop the important qualities of patience, respect for others, sharing and giving, and loving kindness. It is also a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet new spiritual friends.

Kids six and under must be accompanied by parent.
