Welcome to Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center

Tushita Buddhist Center in Thousand Oaks is the third Kadampa Buddhist Center in the Los Angeles area. Opened this year, its purpose is to provide a facility where the people of San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley can train in meditation and other practices of Kadampa Buddhism. The center offers a range of meditation classes, study programs, chanted meditations and events.

The meditation classes offered at Tushita Buddhist Center combine guided meditation with practical advice on how to reduce stress and solve problems in daily life. Taught by Westerners, the meditation classes are very easy to understand and are suitable for both beginners as well as advanced meditation practitioners.

Transform Your Life: A Blissful Journey

In our busy lives we often don't see the connection between our state of mind and our daily experiences.

When our mind is peaceful, our world is joyful but when our mind is disturbed or agitated we easily experience problems, stress and difficulties.

This series will teach us practical methods and meditations for improving the mind and transforming our life into a blissful journey towards lasting peace and happiness.

This course is suitable for everyone, newcomers and more experienced students alike.
